PVE for Peace developed the capacities of 60 youth representing more than 30 youth-led organizations in Northern Morocco. The three months online training focused mainly on enabling the participants to use strategic communications to transform conflicts and engage youth in preventing violent extremism online.
Through an engaging online methodology that relied on an in-house learning management system and conference tools, the participants learned about how they can employ strategic communication to transform conflicts and prevent violence at the community level. The training prepared them to develop various online and offline activities that aim at spreading the messages of peace, tolerance, and coexistence among their peers.
This service was part of an overall project titled “Pioneers of Peace” funded by the EU and UNICRI.
